Our son Marco Luján, attending Chowan University in Murfreesboro, NC with an athletic and academic 100 percent scholarship, is the goalkeeper and captain of the soccer team. On august 15th, 2016, on the first day of the preseason while he was doing a test, where the whole team was present and that it was conducted by his coaches, he suffered a severe heat stroke that caused him multiple damages in several different organs, putting him into a state of coma and for him to survive he needs a liver transplantation, a surgery on his right lung and, as a consequence, his kidneys are not working properly requiring dialysis three times a week. After four months hospitalized, with lots of ups and downs, we keep hope that very soon this nightmare will come to an end and our son could get back to the soccer field once more, so he could finish school, where he just has one semester left. Since August 16th we have been by his side, my husband lost his job and our two other children stayed at home, so you can image the ongoing costs that we currently have and that will remain. We ask for your support with any amount so we could continue on our son’s side, we thank in advance your help, please keep him in your prayers. Today, January 2nd, 2017, Marco Luján felt a little better, without those trembling headaches that prevent him to do his physical therapies. Yet, without a settled date to leave the hospital facilities, bills keep coming, to the point where we don’t know how to keep making it through, we appreciate any amount of money to continue supporting the full recovery of Marco Luján.
